1st Day 28th APRIL - Cagliari
Arrival to Cagliari airport, welcome and meeting with the tour leader. Private transfer to Nora and visit of the archaeological site. The day ends in the town of Carbonia at the Lu Hotel****. Time for relax. Dinner and overnight stay.

2nd Day 29th APRIL - Carbonia
Breakfast in Hotel. Sightseeing of Carbonia. Visit the great Serbariu mine, commissioned by Mussolini. It is a fascinating industrial site important for the history of Sardinia: here we will know the hard life of the workers of Carbonia. Serbariu Coal Mine, active from 1937 to 1964. The complex was restored and turned into a museum in December 2005, a place of historical memories and of the work of the Sulcis mine. Lunch in a local agritourism. In the afternoon visit to a local vinery to grasp the essence of Carignano del Sulcis. Return to Lu’ Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

3rd Day 30th APRIL – Sant’Antioco - Cagliari
Breakfast in Hotel. Check out and transfer to the island of Sant'Antioco. Visit to the Basilica of Saint Antiochus Marty, a church of Byzantine origin and the Roman Catacombs, visit to the tofet, a typical Phoenician sanctuary, where children were cremated and buried in urns. We continue with the visit to the Byssus Museum with Chiara Vigo, the last woman who makes sea silk. It is another way much rarer of silk, known as sea silk or byssus a fine filament produced by large molluscs under the sea. Traditional Sardinian chant are recited by Chiara to ensure a good harvest. Chiara Vigo is thought to be the only person left who can harvest it, spin it and make it shine like gold. Lunch in a local restaurant. Transfer to Cagliari and guided tour of Cagliari dedicated to the neighbourhoods of Stampace and the Feast of S. Efisio. Dinner and overnight stay at 4 or 5 stars Hotel.

4th Day 1st MAY - Cagliari
Breakfast in Hotel. Meeting with the guide and all day dedicated to the Celebration of Saint Ephysius Feast. The event par excellence in Cagliari and the most engaging and heartfelt celebration bringing together the entire island. The feast starts in a medieval district of Stampace where stands the church of Sant’Efisio. The town is crossed by a procession of 3500 people in traditional clothes, arriving from every place in Sardinia, following them over two hundred knights, the Campidanesi, the Miliziani and the Guardiania. A meeting of colours, costumes, the sound of " Launeddas and Is Goccius ↵, devotional songs: the Feast of Sant'Efisio is celebrated from 1st to 4th May. Lunch in a local restaurant. Afternoon dedicated a panoramic sightseeing of Cagliari, Monte Urpinu, Poeto e Saline. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

5th DAY 2nd MAY – Cagliari – Santadi -Carloforte
Breakfast in Hotel. Check out and transfer to Santadi, visit to Is Zuddas Caves. Santadi Vinery. Wine tasting of the best Carignano vines. Transfer to Calasetta and embark for Carloforte Island. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon arrival and check in to Lu Riviera Hotel****. Time for relax, walking sightseeing of the town centre. Dinner and overnight stay.

6th Day 3rd MAY – Buggerru – Fluminimaggiore - Guspini
Breakfast in Hotel. Check out and transfer to Bugerru. Visit to Porto Flavia site, lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon transfer to Fluminimaggiore, visit to the archaeological site Temple of Antas. A fundamental monument of the Roman age on the island, formerly a Nuragic sanctuary and in vogue even in the Punic era. Transfer to Guspini to the 4 stars Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

7th Day 4th MAY – San Gavino - Guspini
Breakfast in Hotel. Transfer San Gavino and visit “Murales”. Follows a sweet confectionary lab. Typical lunch in a farmhouse. In the afternoon visit to the “knives” museum and transfer to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

8th Day 5th MAY – San Sperate - Cagliari
Breakfast in Hotel. Check out and transfer to visit “The Man Who Make Rocks Sing”. the sculptures of Pinuccio Sciola, kept in the Sound Garden. Starting from the materials offered by his land, the artist has created works that can be touched and that generate very particular sounds: we will discover that even a stone has a voice! Lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch transfer to Cagliari airport and end of the service.
