Day 1 – CAGLIARI/OLBIA/ALGHERO AIRPORT

Arrival in Sardinia:  meeting with your  tour leader and private transfer to the Hotel, check in and lunch. In the afternoon light city tour and transfer to a local winery and Wine Tasting. Return to the hotel and free time to relax and familiarize with the town. Dinner and overnight stay in a 4 stars Hotel in Cagliari/Alghero/Olbia. Day 2 – HISTORY AND TRADITIONS OF SARDINIA

Breakfast in Hotel in Cagliari/Olbia or Alghero and transfer to Abbasanta, visit to Nuraghe Losa: the origins of Sardinia. Transfer to Nuoro, arrival to the city and walk through the historic centre, visit “Casa Natale di Grazia Deledda”, the birthplace of Grazia Deledda). Lunch in a local restaurant or farmhouse. After lunch visit of the Museum of traditional customs and ethnographic in Nuoro. In the evening, transfer to Cualbu Hotel*** in Fonni, dinner in their typical restaurant and overnight stay. Day 3 – THE “BARBARICINO” CARNIVAL

Breakfast in the Hotel, transfer to Mamoiada, visit the town and the Museums of Masks, MaTer and Labour. Typical “barbaricino” lunch and in the afternoon, “Carnevale di Mamoiada” (Mamoiada Carnival), one of the most ancient folk festivals in Sardinia: traditional parade of Mamuthones ↵. Wine tasting in a local vinery. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Cualbu***.

Day 4 – BETWEEN HISTORY AND TRADITION

Breakfast in the Hotel. Transfer to Paulilatino and guided visit to Nuragic Sanctuary of Santa Cristina. Transfer to Montiferru, lunch in a local restaurant/agritourism In the afternoon, equestrian revivals at Santu Lussurgiu Carnival: horse race of Sa Carrela & Nantì. Dinner and overnight stay at Antica Dimora Del Gruccione in Santu Lussurgiu Hamlet. Located in the medieval village of Santu Lussurgiu, is the ideal place for those who want to start a tour of the island and savour the tastes of the traditional cuisine.

Day 5 – THE SARTIGLIA OF ORISTANO

Breakfast in the Hotel and transfer to Oristano. The day will be dedicated to “Sartiglia”, one of the most famous, spectacular and fascinating equestrian celebrations of Europe. Visit to the stables, “Corsa alla Stella” and “Pariglie” (two different exhibition phases of the equestrian celebration). Packed lunch, dinner and overnight stay at Antica Dimora del Gruccione***.

Day 6 – THE ASH WEDNESDAY CARNIVAL

Breakfast in the Hotel. Transfer to Samugheo: visit to the Museum of Sardinian tapestries (the greatest museum of tapestry in Sardinia). Transfer to the Barbagia regionin Teti: visit to the small Archeological Museum of the town and typical lunch at “Oasi Del Fungo” restaurant. Afternoon: Carnival of Ovodda (the only carnival in Sardinia celebrated for the Ash Wednesday). Transfer to Antica Dimora del Gruccione***. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – SANTULUSSURGIU

Breakfast in the Hotel. Morning dedicated to the discovery of local cheese “Su Casizolu”, we will discover the ancient art of making su casizolu, a fine stretched curd cow's milk cheese considered one of Sardinia's food excellences. Tasting of the freshly processed product. The journey continues discovering the Distillerie Lussurgiesi, distilled spirits and brunch with local products. In the afternoon transfer to Cagliari/Olbia/Alghero. Relax. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight stay in a 4* Hotel. Hotel Flora**** ↵    Hotel Regina Margherita****↵

Day 8 – DEPARTURE FROM

Cagliari/Alghero/Olbia.   Breakfast in the Hotel and check out. Private transfer with assistance to the airport. End of our service.
