1st Day: October - CAGLIARI THE CAPITAL CITY
Arrival at Cagliari airport, and meeting with the tour leader to welcome you. Private transfer to the Hotel, check in and time for relax. Lunch in Hotel. In the afternoon sightseeing of Cagliari to discover the best highlights of the “Centro Storico”, with its cobbled historic quarters. Dinner in a local restaurant to taste traditional specialities and overnight stay in 4 or 5 stars Hotel.

2nd Day: October – BETWEEN HISTORY AND WINE – MARMILLA AND SARCIDANO REGION
Breakfast in hotel. Departure with a private Bus to Barumini in the centre of the Marmilla region. Visit to Su Nuraxi, the only archaeological site in Sardinia declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site (1997). Not only is it the most impressive (and most well-preserved) of the thirty Nuragic sites, but it is, above all, the most precious inheritance left to us by the Nuragic civilization. Transfer to Gergei and lunch in a local farmhouse. After lunch visit to Olianas Estate and wine tasting.
Olianas has a philosophy based on respecting the environment, nature and the people who live there. Since then, this philosophy has developed into a new concept of agriculture, where environmental protection is a required procedure to ensure prosperity in the future. Lunch will be provided amongst the beauty of the vineyard with traditional dishes of the region. Visit to the cellar and still time for an exciting experience inside the vineyard (such as the grape harvest and assisting in the vinification process).
Late afternoon departure to Tonara Town, Check in to Belvedere Hotel****. Dinner and Overnight stay.

3rd Day: October – BARBAGIA AND MANDROLISAI – CORTES APERTAS
Tonara: The works of the past……. Tonara, the village of nougat and cowbells (sonaggias), a place to enjoy walks in ancient woods. Cowbells have always been an indispensable tool in the history of Sardinian sheep farming. The art of making: an ancient and romantic craft with a history that has its roots in the Sardinian tradition. Visit to Floris Farm: the production of Sardinian cowbells. This is the only artisan workshop where cowbells are still produced by hand with ancient instruments. The “CAMPANACCI FLORIS” workshop run by Marco Floris located in Tonara.
Transfer to the wine Valley of Mandrolisai, and wine tasting at Fradiles Vineyard. Lunch in Agriturismo/Farmhouse inside a vineyard at San Mauro location. In the afternoon is a visit of CORTES APERTAS. Guided walking tour into the streets and visit of local open houses. During the Cortes Apertas, each one of the 26 hamlets involved, open their historic houses’ courtyards for a journey into art, craftwork and products of the earth. Each one creates a different emotion, because the character and traits of each of Barbagia’s is unique. Transfer to Tonara, dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

4th Day: October – BARBAGIA DI OLLOLAI E CORTES APERTAS / NUORESE REGION
Tiana/ Mammoiada/ Orgosolo/ Oliena:
Transfer to Tiana and visit to a “Gualchiera” water-powered machine for fulling cloth; a fulling mill (unique in Europe). “Tiana is just one village within an extraordinary region in which the proportion of centenarians has been found to be three times greater than in the rest of Sardinia — and mainland Italy. Although good genes, diet and exercise are often cited as crucial to living a long life — which they are in most places — research in this Mediterranean region indicates that social interaction may be just as influential.” (By Vivien Jones, CNN, February 12, 2018).
Transfer of Mamoiada and visit of local vinery and wine tasting. Lunch in agritourism where we offer up the traditional food of our rural culture. visit to the Mediterranean Musk and Culture Museum in Mamoiada town. Transfer to Orgosolo and visit to THE MURALES.

5th Day: October – OLIENA
Like a romantic painting, the area around Oliena, is a town rich in history, founded in Roman era at the foot of the limestone massif, Corrassi, and characterized by captivating valleys of mountains. Breakfast in Hotel. Free time for relax and enjoy Su Gologone facilities. Typical lunch with local shepherds. In the afternoon visit of winery and wine tasting. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

6th Day: October – PENINSULA OF SINIS REGION
Breakfast in hotel. Check out and departure for the Sinis Region. On the central-western coast of the Island, there is an unspoilt paradise recognized by the European Commission as an ‘Eden’ destination of excellence, a unique natural setting where you can enjoy any outdoor activity throughout the year. Visit of Tharros: a Nuragic settlement, a Phoenician centre of commerce, a Carthaginian fortress, a Roman urbs, a Byzantine administrative centre and capital of Arborea!
Lunch in a local restaurant. In Tharros, you will find more than two thousand years of history and Mostra dei Giganti di Monti Prama. Visit of Museo Civico Giovanni Marongiu. Transfer to Cagliari, dinner and overnight stay in 4 or 5 stars Hotel.
